NEW SOUTH TITLE & ABSTRACT COMPANY, LLC was formed for the purpose of issuing title insurance commitments and policies as an agent for several title insurance companies. As you know, in Georgia, virtually all title insurance is issued through agencies such as NEW SOUTH. Presently, NEW SOUTH is an agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Guaranty Company and is completing an agency agreement with First American Title Insurance Company. NEW SOUTH will issue title insurance policies for commercial real estate transactions for the entire state of Georgia. It will not issue title insurance policies for residential transactions. Title examinations will be performed and certified to NEW SOUTH by attorneys with years of experience examining titles for commercial real estate transactions. NEW SOUTH will not perform title examinations with respect to any policy it issues.

 

For your information, I am the sole owner of NEW SOUTH. As an agent, I have issued title insurance policies for 30 years for virtually every title insurance company doing business in the Southeast. My long term relationship with the underwriters of these companies enables me to obtain the title insurance coverages you require. Among other things, you should know that I have significant experience examining titles for commercial real estate transactions and large land assemblages. My years of practice representing developers in buying, developing, financing and selling commercial real estate have proven my ability to solve title problems. Basically, I know what needs to be done and how to do it.
